We collect only what we need to fulfil your order and deliver our service:

• Order information: name, business name (optional), email address, the vertical and region you specify.
• Payment information: processed entirely by Stripe Payments Australia Pty Ltd. We never see or store your card details.
• Communication records: any messages you send us via email or messaging platforms in relation to your order.
• Site usage data: anonymous analytics about how visitors interact with doorknockmaps.com (page views, referring source). No personal identification.

2. How we use your information

• To process your order and deliver your map.
• To send transactional emails (receipts, delivery notifications, refresh reminders).
• To respond to support questions or requests.
• To improve our products and website.
• To comply with legal obligations (tax records, etc.).

We do not send marketing emails unless you have explicitly opted in. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to anyone, ever.

3. Who we share information with

We only share personal information with third parties that help us deliver the service:

• Stripe (payment processing) — your card details go directly to Stripe; we never see them.
• Email delivery providers (e.g. Postmark, Resend) — for transactional emails only.

All third-party processors we use are bound by their own privacy and security obligations.

4. About the maps we deliver

The maps you receive contain public business listing information (business names, addresses, phone numbers, websites) sourced from OpenStreetMap and other publicly available web sources. We do not collect or include personal information about individual consumers, residential addresses, or private records. All data is B2B and publicly listed.

5. Data storage and security

Personal information we collect is stored on servers operated by reputable cloud providers, primarily in Australia or the United States. We use industry-standard security measures (HTTPS, access controls, encryption at rest where supported by the provider) to protect your information.

6. Retention

We retain order and contact records for seven (7) years to comply with Australian tax record-keeping requirements. After that period, we delete personal information unless you have an active subscription or have asked us to retain it.

7. Your rights

Under the Privacy Act 1988, you can:

• Request access to the personal information we hold about you.
• Request correction of any information that is inaccurate.
• Request deletion of your information (subject to legal record-keeping obligations).
• Withdraw consent to receive transactional emails (note: doing so may prevent us from servicing your order).
